FacilityVision CEO to Moderate Panel Discussion at National PRSM Conference
Joe Steinberger, Chief Executive Officer of FacilityVision, will moderate a panel discussion entitled "Deploying Web-based Facility Management Software - A View from the Trenches" at the National Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association's annual show in Orlando.
Three retail panelists, Norm Peck of Shoppers Drug Mart, John Walton of JC Penny and Joe Stern of West Marine will participate as panelists. The session is designed to give Facility Managers a realistic view of what it takes to implement web-based software systems.
"At this point most people in the industry are aware of the benefits of moving communications and processes to the web," says Steinberger. "Rather than reviewing the features of these systems, we're going to give retailers a sense of the hurdles they will face in getting buy-in from other departments and getting to a successful software deployment."
Topics to be covered include how to properly set internal customer expectations, assessing hard savings directly attributed to software and successfully demonstrating this return on investment to management.
